Cristești, Mureș
Cristești (Hungarian: Maroskeresztúr, Hungarian pronunciation: [mɒroʃkɛrstuːr]) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania that is composed of two villages:

- Vălureni / Székelykakasd

Demographics
The commune has a relative Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 5,591 of which 49.49% or 2,767 are Hungarian. 2,421 or 43.3% are Romanians.
