Dave Lee (chaos magician)
Dave Lee is a British writer and occultist associated with the chaos magic movement. He was a member of the Circle of Chaos group in the mid-1980s.[1]
Early life
Growing up in West London, Lee became interested in magic after taking LSD in his late teens. He later met Ray Sherwin and Peter J. Carroll, the founders of chaos magic, in Leeds in the late 1970s, and subsequently became involved with the movement.[2] Along with Genesis P-Orridge, Lee is responsible for introducing the ideas of William S. Burroughs to chaos magic, particularly the cut-up technique.[3]
