Decaisnea fargesii
Decaisnea paradoxa, or blue sausage fruit,[3] is a member of the family Lardizabalaceae, and is native to Nepal, Tibet and China.[2] It is deciduous shrub which grows to a height of 4 m.[3]

The species was first described in 1892 by the Adrien René Franchet.[1][2]
Both the online Flora of China[4] and Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF)[5] do not consider this a separate species from Decaisnea insignis, but Plants of the World Online[2] does.
