Diving tenders of the Royal New Zealand Navy

Diving tenders of the Royal New Zealand Navy from its formation on 1 October 1941 to the present. There have been three diving tenders and they have all had the same name. A fourth diving tender also with the same name is scheduled for commissioning in 2019.

Manawanui   ii 1979-1988 In 1988 was renamed Kahu and recommissioned as a training boat and backup diving tender.

Manawanui  iv 2019- Scheduled for commissioning in 2019. Will function also as a hydrographic survey ship.

Manawanui is a Māori word meaning "to be brave or steadfast".
