Ervine Mosby
Ervine Pyrah Mosby[6][lower-alpha 1] (1877–1916), also known as Irving Mosby,[7] was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Bradford.[4] Prior to Tuesday 27 August 1895, Bradford FC was a rugby union club, it then became a rugby league club, and since 1907 it has been the association football (soccer) club Bradford Park Avenue.

Background
Mosby was born in Garforth, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, and he died aged 38 in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Playing career
International honours
Mosby won a cap for England while at Bradford FC in 1905 against Other Nationalities.[5]
Championship Final appearances
Mosby played right-centre, i.e. number 3, and scored a goal in Bradford FC's 5-0 victory over Salford in the Championship tiebreaker during the 1903–04 season at Thrum Hall, Hanson Lane, Halifax on Thursday 28 April 1904, in front of a crowd of 12,000.[8][9]
Challenge Cup Final appearances
Mosby was a reserve to travel in Bradford FC's 5-0 victory over Salford in the 1906 Challenge Cup Final during the 1905–06 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds.[10]
County Cup Final appearances
Mosby played in Bradford FC's 8-5 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1906 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1906–07 season at Belle Vue, Wakefield on Saturday 1 December 1906.[11]

- The englandrl.co.uk website previously stated Mosby's forename as Edward, it now states E.P., whereas rlhp.co.uk states Mosby's forename as Irving. In records, his name is alternately spelt Ervin, Erwin, Ervine, Irving and Irwin.
