Four by the Beach Boys
4-By The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys was the band's first and only EP released in the United States (not counting the Holland bonus EP Mount Vernon and Fairway), in contrast to several EPs released in the UK and elsewhere. It contained only songs from the album All Summer Long. The lead track "Little Honda" peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 while "Wendy" peaked at number 44.

The original title of this release was 'Four By The Beach Boys', Capitol EAP 1-2110, which was changed to '4-By The Beach Boys' Capitol R-5267 on the label, but only the catalogue number was changed on the sleeve. This was verified by record collectors who closely examined the etchings in the deadwax (the area between record grooves and the center label), and noticed the new number was stamped over the original.[1][3] The reason was a series by Capitol Records that had started with 'Four By The Beatles' in May 1964, Capitol EAP 1-2121. Another EP was released by the Beatles in 1965, 4-By The Beatles, Capitol R-5365.[4] Released in-between, this EP reflects elements of both.
