College career
King played college basketball at the former Brunswick College, now College of Coastal Georgia, and Western Carolina University.
Professional career
In the 1995 NBA Draft, King was selected as the 37th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers.
His NBA career lasted six games with the Lakers, in 1995–96, and 7 games with the Philadelphia 76ers, in 1996–97. He also played professionally in numerous European countries, as well as in Asia (Israel) and South America (Venezuela).
