Guadalupe Worbis

Teresa Guadalupe Worbis Aguilar (born 12 December 1983), better known as Lupita Worbis,[2][3] is a Mexican architect[4] and a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga MX Femenil club Puebla. She has been a member of the Mexico women's national team.

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Worbis and the second or maternal family name is Aguilar.

Early life

Worbis completed her undergraduate degree in architecture at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Puebla, Mexico.[5]

Club career

On 11 January 2013 Worbis joined Washington Spirit for the inaugural season of the National Women's Soccer League as part of the NWSL Player Allocation.[6] She made eleven appearances for the Spirit and scored one goal.[7]

International career

Worbis competed for Mexico at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where the team finished in 8th place.
