Henry Squire
Henry Squire was Archdeacon of Barnstaple from 1554 to 1582.[1]
From Warwickshire, he studied at Magdalen College, Oxford in 1548, becoming a fellow from 1552 to 1555.
He was collated archdeacon of Barnstaple in 1554, serving until 1582. He was also a canon of Exeter cathedral from 1562 and made rector of Iddisleigh, Devon in 1563.[2]
