Herb Miller (born November 11, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Florida Atlantic.

Professional career

Kansas City Chiefs

Miller was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as a undrafted free agent on May 7, 2019, after participating in a tryout with the team.[1] He was waived by the Chiefs on August 31, 2019, during final roster cuts.[2]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Miller was signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad on December 18, 2019.[3] The Buccaneers signed him to a reserve/futures contract on January 7, 2020.[4] He was waived during final roster cuts on September 5, 2020,[5] but was re-signed to the Buccaneers' practice squad the next day.[6] He was elevated to the active roster on November 28 and December 12 for the team's weeks 12 and 14 games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings, and reverted to the practice squad after each game.[7][8] In Week 16 against the Detroit Lions, Miller recorded his first career interception off a pass thrown by David Blough during the 47–7 win.[9] On January 2, 2021, Miller was promoted to the active roster for the season finale against the Atlanta Falcons.
