Hoveyzeh County
Hoveyzeh County (Persian: شهرستان هویزه, Arabic:مقاطعة الحويزة) is a county in Khuzestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Hoveyzeh.[1] It was separated from Dasht-e-Azadegan County in 2008. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 30,750, in 5,417 families.[2] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Neysan District. The county has two cities: Hoveyzeh and Rafi.

Hoveyzeh is considered among the famous cities of Iran because of Iran-Iraq war. This city is located near the border of Iraq and its citizens are considered among Khuzestani Arab people.[3]
