Hylophilus
Hylophilus is a genus of bird in the family Vireonidae. Established by Coenraad Jacob Temminck in 1822, it contains the following species as of 2014:[3]
- Grey-eyed greenlet (Hylophilus amaurocephalus)
- Brown-headed greenlet (Hylophilus brunneiceps)
- Scrub greenlet (Hylophilus flavipes)
- Olivaceous greenlet (Hylophilus olivaceus)
- Ashy-headed greenlet (Hylophilus pectoralis)
- Rufous-crowned greenlet (Hylophilus poicilotis)
- Grey-chested greenlet (Hylophilus semicinereus)
- Lemon-chested greenlet (Hylophilus thoracicus)

The name Hylophilus is composed of the Greek words for "forest" or "woodland" (hulē) and "-loving" (philos, from phileō, meaning "to love").[4]
