Hypatima melanocharis
Hypatima melanocharis is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1934.[1] It is found on Java in Indonesia.[2]

The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are rather dark grey irrorated (sprinkled) with white, with scattered black dots and short fine irregular dashes, a longer dash beneath the costa at one-third, and three short marks in a rather oblique series in the disc beneath the posterior end of this, some brown suffusion above them, a cloudy blotch of whitish irroration towards the costa beyond this, and four small dark brown spots on the costa from this to two-thirds. The hindwings are light grey, darker posteriorly.[3]
