Foreign students
Lithuania is attracting a large number of students from India and the number increased from 37 in 2001 to 357 in 2014.[2] The Kaunas University of Technology is popular with Indian students with the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in close second. Many Indian students chose Lithuania as their destination for education as the quality of education is regarded as among the top in Europe and that the cost of fees are much cheaper compared to that of the United Kingdom.
