Intinti Gruhalakshmi is an Indian Telugu language serial airing on Star Maa and also available on the digital platform Disney+Hotstar.[1] It is produced by Sumanohara Production Private Limited which premiered on 03 February 2020.[2] It is the remake of the Bengali serial Sreemoyee, which airs in Star Jalsha.[3]

Plot

Intinti Gruhalakshmi is the story of a married housemaker Tulasi who lives in an urban set-up with her entire family-in-laws, three grown children. To the world, her family seems nothing short of a dream. However, Tulasi soon started to realize that her world is shallow and lonely. And amidst the quest of caring for their every need, she never took the time to carve her own identity and harness her talent. She sets off to create an identity for herself, which has more layers than that of a wife and mother, one of that of an individual after cheated by her husband, on learning the truth of an affair between her husband Nandu and his colleague Lasya.[4]

  • Kasthuri Shankar as Tulasi Nandagopal: She is Nandagopal’s wife and mother of Abhiram, Prem and Divya who always cares about everyone’s happiness in her family rather than her own.
  • Harikrishna as Nanda "Nandu" Gopal: Tulasi’s husband and father of Abhiram, Prem and Divya who always degrades Tulasi and that she isn’t capable for anything and develops an affair with his office mate Lasya.
  • Prashanti as Lasya: Works with Nandu at their office, develops an affair with him and decides to marry him and gain a spot in his family.

  • Sireesha Nulu as Ankitha: Abhiram 's wife, who is also a doctor.Now she always always stands by Tulasi and helps the family in any way that she can.
  • Lahari Vishnuwazhala as Shruthi: Prem's love interest, Sastry's daughter, who supports Prem's dreams.
  • Swapna as Tulasi's household help: She also always supports Tulasi.
  • Advaith Kona as Lucky: He is Lasya's son who doesn't know about her affair with Nanda. He loves his mother.
  • Sumit Roy as Ashwin: An evil minded guy who harasses Shruthi and wants to marry her.
  • Avinash as Mohan: Tulasi's brother who is a cable mechanic.
  • Madhavi Latha as Madhavi: Tulasi's sister-in-law
  • Preeti Nigam as Anjali: Tulasi 's childhood best friend who warns her about Nandagopal and Lasya's relationship. She consoles when Tulsi breaks down after knowing Nanda's affair and warns both Nanda and Lasya. (Guest Role)
