History
Ironi Nahariya, which was founded as Hapoel Nahariya in 1970, has played in the Israeli Basketball Premier League since the 1991/92 season.[3][4][5] The club played there for two seasons, until they were relegated to the second league, and two years later relegated again to the third league. In the 1999/00 season, Nahariya was promoted back to the second league, and in the 2001/02 season they came back to the Israeli Basketball Premier League, after eight years of absence.
In 2009/10 the team was relegated to the second league again, after losing a playoff series against Hapoel Holon. In the 2018-19 season the team was promoted back to the Israeli Basketball Premier League. It plays in Nahariya in a 2,500 seat stadium in the Ein Sara neighborhood.[5]
