Ispahani Public School & College, Cumilla

Ispahani Public School & College commonly referred to as IPSC is a well known public educational institution in Cumilla Cantonment, cumilla, Bangladesh. The institution offers primary, secondary and higher secondary education facilities under the Cumilla Education Board. Founded by Mirza Ahmad Ispahani. The institution is widely known for its excellent results in S.S.C. and H.S.C. exams and its discipline. The institution is managed by Bangladesh army officers.

History

The organization, named Cantonment Public School, started on 28 September 1962 and started its education program at the present Comilla Zilla School. In 1963, the school was shifted to the current Cantonment Board School. Initially, SSC examination was conducted in this school in 1964. It was named Mainamati Public School in June 1965. On September 28, 1966, after the financial assistance of donor Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, the name of the company was named Ispahani Public School. After the establishment of the college branch on October 28, 1975, the institute was renamed as Ispahani Public School and College.
