Jain Temple, Kidanganad

A famous Jain temple is located at Sultan Bathery, earlier known as kidaganad town of Kerala.[1] It is said to have been built in the 13th century CE.[2] The temple is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.[3]

Destruction

In the 18th century, the temple was invaded and used by Tipu Sultan(king of Mysore) to keep his armory (Battery).[4]
