Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha is a full-fledged medical college with a dedicated 1750 beded hospital (Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospotal & Shalinitai Meghe Superspeciality Centre) in Wardha, Maharashtra. The college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) since 1990. Selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Yearly undergraduate student intake is 250.
The college also provides post graduation degree (M.D. & M.S.) in all specialities including Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia, Pediatrics, Obstetric & Gynaecology, E.N.T., Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, Emergency Medicine, Pathology etc and Super Speciality Degrees (D.M. & MCh) in Cardiac Anesthesia, Neuro Anesthesia, Neuro Surgery, Critical Care Medicine etc.
