Christmas special
A Christmas special called "The Night Before Zipsmas" aired 5 December 2009 showing the wheelers getting ready for Christmas and trying to get to read the book "The Night Before Zipsmas". The other Christmas special was called "A Gift for Zooter" and aired the same day. It shows Ellyvan trying to find a gift for Zooter.
Characters
Main
- Ellyvan (voiced by Billy West) – A blue elephant van who carries deliveries around the jungle. He is Zooter's best friend. He is able to suck improbable quantities of liquids up his trunk and spray them distances of up to half a mile or more.
- Zooter (voiced by Janet James) – A pink pig who is the jungle messenger. She is very fast and is Ellyvan’s best friend. Zooter has a British accent.
- Bungo (voiced by Keith Wickham) – A yellow bunny with a raccoon tail who loves to make signs and put them all over the jungle. He is also the only wheeler that is good at jumping, being able to leap many times his own height into the air. His catchphrase is “Oh carrot sticks!” Like Zooter, Bungo speaks with a British accent.
Supporting
- Taxicrab (voiced by Jess Harnell) – A red crab who loves to dance and make smoothies. He is the only wheeler that is able to drive sideways.
- Carla (voiced by Laraine Newman) – An orange koala who owns a grocery shop. She mostly speaks with an American southern accent. Carla is seen in season 1. However, she rarely appears in any episodes in season 2 due to her moving out of Jungle Junction.
- Crocker (voiced by Keith Wickham) – A green crocodile fire chief who works at a fire station. He speaks with a lisp due to his teeth.
- Miss Jolly (voiced by Amanda Symonds) – A zebra school teacher who wears glasses. She is the Beetlebugs’ teacher.
- The Beetlebugs are cute little bugs and are also junior Wheelers whose speech is mostly synchronized. Their names are Bluey, Reddie, Greenie, Goldie, and Orangy. Bluey, Greenie, and Orangy are male while Goldie and Reddie are female. It’s unknown who voices them. Sometimes they speak with words, and sometimes they chatter.
- Hippobus (voiced by Amanda Symonds) – A yellow hippopotamus school bus who carries the Beetlebugs to school.
- Lance (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) – A purple rhinoceros ambulance. He works in a hospital in a treehouse.
- Bobby (voiced by Jimmy Hibbert) – A blue toucan police chief. He is the only wheeler who can fly.
- Dozer (voiced by Keith Wickham) – A bull construction worker. His talent is digging and repairing roads with his dozer blade. He is the only one to have different wheels than all the others.
- Toadhog (voiced by Ron Orbach) – A grumpy, but friendly green toad who likes worms and flies. His water wheel powers the generator for all of the lights (including the traffic lights) and he has a supplementary generator that is used to power the Zipsmas lights.
