Early life

Haak attended Tompkins Square Middle School in Lower East Side from 2012-15 Haak attended High School for Environmental Studies in New York City from 2015 to 2019. While attending he played for NYCFC's Academy.[1]

Professional career

On January 24, 2019, Haak signed as a Homegrown Player with Major League Soccer side New York City FC.[2]

Haak made his professional debut on June 4, 2019, appearing as an 86th-minute substitute during a 5-2 win against FC Cincinnati.[3]

On September 9, 2020, Haak joined USL Championship side Hartford Athletic on loan from New York City for the rest of the 2020 season.[4] On September 17th, Haak scored his first professional goal in Hartford's 3-1 victory over New York Red Bulls II.[5]
