Khndzorut, Vayots Dzor

Khndzorut (Armenian: Խնձորուտ; until 1946 Turkish: Almalu and Elmalu; with the names in both languages meaning "apple-tree orchard") is a village in the Zaritap Municipality of the Vayots Dzor Province in Armenia. The village is located close to the Armenia–Azerbaijan border. Northwest to the village is the abandoned site of Horadis, with a church from 1668.
