Kulamagal Radhai
Kulamagal Radhai (transl. Radhai, the homely one)[1] is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language romance film[2] directed and written by A. P. Nagarajan and produced by Spider Films. It is based on the novel Vaazhvu Engey, by Akilan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, B. Saroja Devi and Devika. It was released on 7 June 1963.

Production
Kulamagal Radhai directed by A. P. Nagarajan who also wrote the screenplay, and was produced by Spider Films.[3][4] It is based on the novel Vaazhvu Engey, by Akilan.[5][6] Cinematography was handled by W. R. Subba Rao, and the editing by K. Durairaj.[4]
Soundtrack
The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan.[7] Lyrics were written by Kannadasan and A. Maruthakasi. The film songs succeeded very well, especially "Unnai Solli Kutramillai" (sung by T. M. Soundararajan), philosophical song, is the hit from that year.[8]

Release and reception
Kulamagal Radhai was released on 7 June 1963.[4] In Sport and Pastime, T. M. Ramachandran called the film "above average".[2]
