Székely is best known for winning the 1960–61 Turkish National League with Fenerbahçe.[1]
Managerial career
Székely had a brief playing career as a midfielder, before travelling around the world coaching teams in different countries.[2] Székely was briefly the manager of the both the Israel[3] and Turkey national football teams.[4] A journeyman, Székely managed several teams in Italy, Brazil, Austria, and Turkey before dying in an untimely car accident on 29 November 1969.[5]
