Leader of the House (Singapore)
The Leader of the House in the Parliament of Singapore is responsible for arranging government business and the legislative program of Parliament.[1]

The Leader of the House is appointed by the Prime Minister of Singapore. They initiate motions concerning the business of the House during sittings, such as actions to be taken on procedural matters and extending sitting times.[1]
The position was created in 1959 with Toh Chin Chye becoming the first Leader of the House. The current Leader of the House is Indranee Rajah, who assumed office on 24 August 2020.[2]
