Al Ahly Sporting Club (Arabic: النادي الأهلي للرياضة البدنية), commonly referred to as Al Ahly, is an Egyptian professional sports club based in Cairo which plays in the Egyptian Premier League. Gamil Osman was The first full-time manager for Al Ahly.
Manuel José is the most successful manager in terms of trophies. In jose's first term from 2001 until 2002 he won the 2001 CAF Champions League and the 2002 CAF Super Cup .In his second term he won five Egyptian Premier League, two Egypt Cup, four Egyptian Super Cup, three CAF Champions League, three CAF Super Cup in his 5-year reign as manager, he also won one Egyptian Premier League in his third term.[1] The second most successful Al Ahly SC manager in terms of trophies won is Hossam El Badry, who won three Egyptian Premier League titles, one Egypt Cup trophy, three Egyptian Super Cup, one CAF Champions League, one CAF Super Cup.[2]
