So far, January 26, 2021, the eight living governors of Ceará are, in order of beginning of the first term: Adauto Bezerra, Gonzaga Mota, Tasso Jereissati, Ciro Gomes, Chico Aguiar, Lúcio Alcântara, Cid Gomes and Camilo Santana.
