As of 2018, China was the world's 7th largest music market, an increase from being 14th in 2015 and 27th in 2005.[1][2]

Notes
- The best-selling non-single release in China is Cai Xukun's Young (2019), which has sold more than 14 million copies.[3] However, Young only consist of two tracks. The next best-selling non-single EP in China is Lay Zhang's Honey (2019), which has sold more than 4.7 million copies,[4] and consist of four tracks, which is a standard size for modern EPs in North America and Europe.
