Administrative Committee

The Administrative Committee was the first legislative body of Lebanon, established by the French Mandate in 1922, two years after founding the State of Greater Lebanon.

Civil War

In 1975, three years after the 1972 general election, the Lebanese Civil War. No new election was held until 1992. Every four years were considered a separate parliament.
