- Replaced Meglena Kuneva.
- Resigned in 2009, became minister of foreign affairs. Replaced by Andrey Kovatchev in July 2009. She's been also nominated for European commissioner responsible for disaster management and humanitarian aid, but she failed to answer questions about allegations over her financial interests during the European Commission Hearings and was replaced by Kristalina Georgieva.
