Al Fateh Grand Mosque		Manama	1988	Largest mosque in Bahrain in terms of capacity.[1]
Omayr Al-Moalem Mosque		Sitra	1946	Built around the shrine of a Muslim Scholar from Kufa who was prosecuted by Yazid I and fled to Bahrain (and specifically the island of Sitra) to continue his teachings.[2]
Sh. Hussain Al-Asfoor Mosque		Shakhura	14th century AD	Built around the shrine of a prominent Muslim scholar - Hussain Al-Asfoor.
Sayed Hashem Al-Tooblani Mosque		Tubli	12th century AD	Built around the shrine of a prominent Muslim scholar - Seyyed Hashem Bahrani
Khamis Mosque		Khamis	8th century AD	Believed to be the first mosque in Bahrain.
