Matoatoa spannringi
Matoatoa spannringi is a species of gecko, a lizard in the family Gekkonidae. The species is endemic Madagascar.

Etymology
The specific name, spannringi, is in honor of botanist Jürgen Spannring who collected the holotype.[2]
Geographic range
M. spannringi is found in southeastern Madagascar.[3]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of M. spannringi is forest, at an altitude of 600 m (2,000 ft).[1]
Description
M. spannringi may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 5.8 cm (2.3 in).[3]
