Career
Thompson spent time with Manchester United and Everton before signing an 18-month contract with Burnley in December 2019.[2] On 22 June 2020, Thompson made his senior debut, coming on as a substitute in Burnley's 5-0 loss to Manchester City.[3]
Personal life
Thompson’s brother and father also played football, for Blackburn Rovers and York City respectively.[4]
