"Mechanical Emotion" is a 1984 song by Canadian singer Vanity featuring Morris Day. It was released on November 26, 1984[1] as the second single in support of her debut solo album Wild Animal. The single was a minor hit which peaked at No. 23 on Billboards R&B Singles chart.
