Soundtrack
Soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan and lyrics written by Muthulingam, Vaali and Pulamaipithan.[2] Muthulingam recalled that MGR came to know that he did not write any song, he insisted him to write the song "Thangathil Mugam Eduthu" which became a classic.[3] The song "Pongum Kadalosai" is based on Valaji raga.[4]
