Mehdi Zerkane (born 15 July 1999) is a professional footballer who plays for Ligue 1 club Girondins de Bordeaux.[1] Born in France, Zerkane represents the Algeria national team.

Club career
Zerkane's youth deal with AS Monaco expired at the end of June 2020. He agreed a professional deal with Girondins de Bordeaux soon after, signing a contact until 2022.[2]
Zerkane made his debut for Bordeaux against FC Nantes on 21 August 2020, but was sent off for a foul on Nicolas Pallois in a 0–0 draw at the Matmut Atlantique under new coach Jean-Louis Gasset.[3]
International career
Born in France, Zerkane is of Algerian descent.[4] He debuted for the Algeria national team in a 3-1 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification win over Zimbabwe on 12 November 2020.[5]
