Merveille Fundambu

Merveille Fundambu (born November 13, 1999) is a Congolese footballer who plays as a midfielder for Polish club Widzew Łódź.[1]

Club career

Early career

Fundambu began his career in his native Democratic Republic of the Congo, playing for Iseka, AS Elonga and MK Etanchéité.

KTS Weszło Warsaw

On May 18, 2019, he joined Polish Klasa B side KTS Weszło Warsaw. On May 19, 2019, he made his debut in a 5–0 victory over AP Brychczy Warsaw, and scored his first goal for a club.[2] On August 14, 2019, he made a debut in the regional level of the Polish Cup, in a match against Bednarska Warsaw (11–2) with a goal scored.[3]

Radomiak Radom

On January 8, 2020, he was loaned to the I liga side Radomiak Radom.[4] On March 2, Fundambu made his I liga debut, coming on as a substitute for Leândro in a 0–3 defeat against Warta Poznań.[5] He played in 10 games, including the 2019–20 I liga promotion play-off against Warta Poznań (0–2). His loan expired in August 2020.

Widzew Łódź

On August 21, 2020, he joined the I liga side Widzew Łódź on a free transfer.[1][6] He made his debut on August 29, 2020 in a I liga match against his former club Radomiak Radom, playing 69 minutes as Widzew lost 1–4.[7] On September 19, 2020, he scored his first I liga goal in a Widzew's 2–0 victory over Stomil Olsztyn.[8] On November 25, 2020, he made his Polish Cup debut, in a 0–1 home defeat to Legia Warsaw.[9]
