Michael Baldisimo

Michael Baldisimo (born April 13, 2000) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in MLS.[1]

Career

Vancouver Whitecaps FC

Baldisimo signed with Whitecaps FC 2 on March 9, 2017.[2][3] He would spend one season with Whitecaps FC 2 before the club ceased operations after the 2017 season.[4]

Baldisimo signed a multi-year contract with Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 17, 2018.[5] He made his MLS debut on August 25, 2020, starting in a 2–0 away defeat to the Montreal Impact,[6] and scored his first goal the following week in a 3–2 home victory over Toronto FC.[7]

International

Baldisimo was born in Canada and is of Filipino descent.[8] In May 2018, Baldisimo was named to Canada's under-21 squad for the 2018 Toulon Tournament.[9] In October 2018 he was named to the Canadian U20 squad for the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.[10]
