Michael Evans (politician)

Michael Ted Evans (born September 16, 1975) is an American politician. He is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 43rd District, being first elected in 2011 as a member of the Democratic party.[1][2]

In 2018, Evans ran for the United States House of Representatives from Mississippi's 3rd congressional district.[3] He lost to Michael Guest.[4]

In January 2020, he left the Democratic Party and became an Independent.[5]
