Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy
The Ministry of Power, Energy & Business Development (Sinhala: විදුලිබල, බලශක්ති සහ ව්යාපාර සංවර්ධන අමාත්යාංශය Vidulibala, Balashakthi saha Viyapara Sanwardana Amathyanshaya; Tamil: மின்வலு, சக்தி மற்றும் தொழில் மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சு) is a cabinet ministry of the Government of Sri Lanka responsible for power and renewable energy. The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on power and renewable energy and other subjects which come under its purview.[1]

The current Minister and State Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development are Ravi Karunanayake and Champika Premadasa respectively.[2][3] The ministry's secretary is Dr. B. M. S. Batagoda.[4]
