Platforms, facilities & services
Montmorency has one platform. It is between Were Street and Mayona Road, with station access from both. It has a small sheltered waiting area, two myki top up machines, six myki touch on/off stands, and a Protective Services Officers (PSO) box. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Hurstbridge line services.[1]
Recent works to the station have seen new shelters and a third entrance to the station installed.
In the lead up to the 2018 State election, the opposition promised to pay A$300m to duplicate the line between Greensborough and Eltham and upgrade Montmorency station with a second platform.[2]
