NAIA independent football schools

NAIA independent football schools are four-year institutional members of the NAIA that play college football independent of any formal conference affiliation.[1] In sports other than football, these schools compete in a college athletic conference affiliated with the NAIA. For the 2019 NAIA football season, two universities competed as football independents.[2]

  1. Allen began a transition to NCAA Division II, seeking membership in the SIAC.[3]
