On the night, the song was performed twelfth (following Hungary's Charlie with "A holnap már nem lesz szomorú" and preceding Ireland's Dawn Martin and "Is Always Over Now?"). At the close of voting, it had received 17 points, placing eighteenth in a field of twenty five.
It was succeeded as Slovene representative at the 1999 contest by Darja Švajger with "For A Thousand Years".
