Niel, Belgium
Niel (Dutch pronunciation: [nil]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Niel proper. On January 1, 2006 Niel had a total population of 8,798. The total area is 5.27 km² which gives a population density of 1,669 inhabitants per km².

Niel is home for Niel Jaarmarkt Cyclo-cross, a cyclo-cross race held in and around the town. The race is part of the Cyclo-cross Gazet van Antwerpen.
