"Only the Fool Survives" is the second single from Donna Summer's thirteenth studio album All Systems Go and is a duet with Mickey Thomas, lead singer of the band Starship (formerly Jefferson Starship). The song was written by Summer, Bruce Sudano, Michael Omartian, Virgin Weber, John Bettis and Harold Faltermeyer, and produced by Faltermeyer. The ballad was released in November 1987 by Geffen Records and its founded in North America and Japan. There is no music video created for the song.
