The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are fuscous, rosy tinged towards the base and with a fine black very oblique line crossing the fold from near the base to one-fourth. There is a blackish streak, suffused above and partially reddish tinged in the disc, from the costa at one-sixth to the fold at one-third of the wing, then angulated upwards to the middle of the disc, forming an arch edged with whitish beneath, then continued straight through the middle of the disc to the apex. The hindwings are slaty grey.[2]
