Pass Over
Pass Over is a 2018 American drama film directed by Spike Lee and starring Jon Michael Hill, Julian Parker, Ryan Hallahan and Blake DeLong. It is based on the play of the same name by Antoinette Nwandu.

The film was shot in 2017 at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago.[2]
Release
The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.[3] It was then released via Amazon Prime on April 20, 2018.[4]
Reception
The film has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.[5] Chuck Bowen of Slant Magazine awarded the film two stars out of four.[6] Chris Nashawaty of Entertainment Weekly graded the film a B.[7] Nick Allen of RogerEbert.com awarded the film three and a half stars.[8] Bradley Gibson of Film Threat gave the film a 8 out of 10.[9]
The Hollywood Reporter gave it a positive review, calling it "More powerful than its filmed-play format might suggest."[10]
