Piyush Sahdev

Piyush Sahdev (12 March 1982) is an Indian television actor.[1] He is known for playing the role of Lord Rama in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Samay in Sony TV's Beyhadh.[2] He has also played the role of Kabeer Tripathi (KT) in Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.[3][4] He played the role of Abu Fazl in Colors TV's Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali.

Career

Sahdev made his television debut with Meet Mila De Rabba on Sony TV where he played the lead role of Kulwant Singh. After that he was seen in Ghar Ek Sapnaa, Geet and Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. Then he played the role of Abhigyan in Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath.[5] He also played the lead role of Kabir in Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.[6][7] In 2017, Sahdev entered Sony TV's Beyhadh as Samay, which garnered him a lot of appreciation. In the same year, Sahdev joined Colors TV's Devanshi. In 2018, he played the role of Siraj in Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah. Currently, he is portraying the role of Abu Fazl in Colors TV's Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali.[8]

Personal life

Sahdev was born on 12 March 1982 and hails from Delhi, India.[9][10][11] Piyush has a younger sister Vaishali aka Meher Vij.[12][13] His brother Gireesh Sahdev is also an actor.[14][15] He married his friend Akangsha Rawat on 25 June 2012. They divorced in 2017.[16][17] On 24 November 2017, Sahdev was arrested after a woman lodged an FIR at the Versova Police Station, Mumbai accusing him of rape.[18][19]
