Polyscias scutellaria
Polyscias scutellaria, the shield aralia,[1] or plum aralia, is a tropical shrub or small tree reaching 2–6 meters tall. A native of the Southwest Pacific Islands, it is commonly grown in gardens.[2][3]

The leaves and root can be used as an antiseptic and deodorant.
Applications in cuisine
Ancient Native Indonesian has used shield aralia leaf as bowl substitude due to its bowl-like shape and not easy to tear properties. In modern Indonesian cuisine shield aralia can be used as fancy food packaging. shredded sield aralia has aromatic properties that can be mixed to meat or fish meat to concealing the odor. [4]
