Qaleh Now District

Qaleh Now District (Persian: بخش قلعه نو‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Ray County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 33,115, in 8,139 families.[1] The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Qaleh Now Rural District and Chaleh Tarkhan Rural District. The seat of the district (i.e. Bakhshdari) is at Qaleh Now village. The district was separated from Kahrizak District on 16 September 2012.[2]
